Financial Advisor / Director of Planning

Steven Dengler, CFP® is the Director of Planning and a Financial Advisor at Mosaic Asset Partners. As the Director of Planning, Steven collaborates with the firm’s advisors in the development of financial planning processes for their clients. In addition, he serves as an expert in broad areas of financial planning strategies including tax minimization, retirement income maximization, and asset preservation.  

In his role of Financial Advisor, Steven works directly with clients by helping them achieve their short- and long-term goals through a thoughtful and holistic financial planning process.  In addition, he currently serves on the firm’s investment committee, where he assists in the firm’s due diligence process in selecting asset managers and investment vendors and partners. His attention to detail and experience in portfolio construction and design are key to the planning process.

Steven joined Mosaic Asset Partners in July 2017 as a Client Services Manager. During his first few years, Steven was motivated to helping clients achieving their financial goals through seeing the big picture.  He achieved his CFP® designation in June 2019. He also holds his Series 7 & 66 licenses as well as his Maryland Insurance License for Life, Health, and Annuity lines. 

Steven is a Baltimore native, born and raised on the Chesapeake Bay in Bowley’s Quarters. He attended Salisbury University, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning. While attending Salisbury, he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for maintaining a spot in the top 10% of his class. He was also an active member of the Financial Management Association at the Perdue School of Business.

When he is not working, you will find him on the Chesapeake Bay with his wife and their dog or enjoying a good game of tennis or golf.
